    That new chicken sandwich is good. Nice soft bun, spicy mayo spread with pickles. The chicken was moist on the inside and had a nice crunchy crust on the outside. The whole sandwich was huge, definitely worth the money.

    I had one sandwich left over from my son. The sandwich was still good the next day. Yum. I'd go back although we did just barely make it in before they ran out of chicken and had to wait almost an hour from the time we waited in line before we got our food.

    When a black guy picked up his order, "would you like some sauce?". When an Asian (me) picked up the order and ask for a sauce, "Sauce is 30 cents each". Not that I give a crap about 30 cents, but racial discrimination is freaking real.

    P.S. I have been to over 10 different Popeyes around the country, this is the first time somebody want to charge me for sauce.

    Popeyes menu online isn't as detailed as KFC. I have to go in to the store and stare at the screen to see what kind of combos they have.

    I got the boyfriend a 5 piece tender combo with cajun fries. I got the 3 piece mixed combo with mashed potatoes. I also got us an extra side of regular cajun fries.

    I was disappointed that they had one of those 100+ flavor soda foundations but almost all the sodas and flavors were out except coke. A gentlemen after me informed the staff that their sweet tea wasn't sweet (it was unsweetened tea). No one did anything about the drinks because they seemed understaffed for a Friday night.

    Food was ready in about 10 minutes. I asked for some extra sauces, blackened ranch and mardi gras mustard. The staff there were friendly enough.

    I brought the food home and everything looked/tasted fine.

    Ps. Parking spots here are so tight it makes me nervous.

    Wow I haven't had Popeyes in over 5 years! We decided to grab some chicken to go for our picnic dinner tonight because we heard rumors about their special chicken sandwich which is supposed to be amazing. Well turns out our local store ran out of the sandwich, so we ended up with tenders, wings, fries and biscuits. The tenders were moist, wings were nice and crispy, Cajun fries were good but the biscuits were just ok. They had a strong buttery taste but something was missing. Next time I am calling ahead to make sure they have the sandwich so I can try it!

    We are out of the chicken sandwich. Have been for four days.Again!
    They must want to go out of business, they surely try hard to discourage the customers.
